Reed Security Systems has been in the electronic security business since 1988 and has no parent firms, sister firms or subsidiaries.

Reed Security specializes in the design and installation of various electronic security systems, each specifically designed to meet the customers' needs. These systems include, but are not limited to: perimeter detection, access control, video surveillance, intrusion and fire detection, marine vessel security, and home audio/video integration. Prior to any installation, Reed Security provides the customer with printed implementation plans and specifications for professional review and approval. Once the plans are approved, both the customer and Reed Security have a clear understanding of the system's capabilities and the scope of work to be performed.

Reed Security distributes and installs the worlds leading video surveillance equipment to clients in the private, law enforcement, and government sectors.

Reed Security Systems is a small business entity and is registered with the United States Government Central Contractor Registration, Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) and FedBiz. The company is licensed as a security firm in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Washington DC and is both bonded and insured.

Reed Security Systems is a veteran owned SBA company on a GSA schedule.

Since its conception, Reed Security Systems has demonstrated its individual and team technical capabilities by conducting viable solutions for risk management to major metropolitan police departments, correction facilities, court houses and special operations forces.
